37175 was brought into the shed in May for
removal of one leaking cylinder liner which
was found to be the cause of the coolant in the
sump oil. However, when this was removed the
bearing shells were found to be in poor condition
so it was decided to remove all cylinder
heads, pistons and liners for examination. This
has now been done and all the parts are in the
process of being cleaned, examined and overhauled

By the beginning of July both A and B banks were fully stripped and a start made on overhauling the components
