37175 Slochd Crossing

Can anyone shed any light on this picture? 37175 is seen at Slochd crossing on 24th June 1988, The caption on the back of the photo states 'immobilised' A large chunk of wood is clearly visible under the loco but does anyone know what happened.... Photo J.L.Stevenson
